Claymate Rules and Regulations

  • Our practice facilities are equipped throughout with Multitrap Claymate Trap Controllers. The hi-tech design and ease of use allows any solo shooter to have complete freedom of the layout without the need for someone to activate the trap for you. Whilst regulating the number of clays you shoot, it now allows you/your squad to shoot what targets you want and as many as you want, together with any combination of Simulated Pairs
  • When you use our practice facilities you will be handed a Claymate Card either for individual or squad use from reception.
  • When you arrive at your layout you will see a Claymate unit in a white box to the LEFT of the main stand, you put your card in the clip on the Blue Box (As below)
  • You will see on the door of the white box a laminated A4 layout plan of the targets available and the corresponding letters to coincide with your buttons, together with the SOLO and Simulated Pair Options
  • You may move the button/cable to an adjacent stand on the layout (as shown on the door plan of that layout).
  • Always load and shoot from a cage.
  • Only one shooter to shoot any one layout at any one time.
  • Please note that you will be charged for all Targets you see and shoot
  • No Birds – If you receive two "No Birds" on a trap STOP using it and report it to a member of staff. You will be charged for any additional no birds on that specific trap. Please note that is only a practice ground not competition rules.
  • When you have finished a layout remove your card and take it to the next layout. Please hang up the trap release button on the bracket provided.
  • Please put spent cartridges in the bins provided.
  • When you have completed your practice round return your card to reception where the number of clays shot will be recorded and payment made.
  • Please let reception know of any no birds.
  • Any lost cards will incur a set Fee
