On The Side Club
In June 2004, the West Kent Shooting School was approached by some of its members with an idea of setting up a “Side by Side” Club for those enthusiasts who wish to shoot in the traditional way A Club was formed called the ‘On the Side Club’.
The On the Side Club holds six formal shoots a year, ‘Partridge’, ‘Pheasant’, ‘Woodcock’, ‘Grouse’, ‘Pigeon’ and ‘Duck Day’ where guests are welcome by invitation only.
Traditional game shooting attire is worn on these days to keep the formal customs throughout.
The Club holds monthly breakfast meetings and practice shoots to keep in touch, express any ideas, views and to arrange away days and events.
The membership fee is £12.00. Then at each shoot you pay for your clays and breakfast/lunch. Click the button below for the application form.
